Pressure Testing

AFP are NATA accredited for pressure testing (ISO 17025). As experts in high-pressure fluid and gas systems, our procedures hold us to the highest standards and ensure accountability for the work we do. These include:

  • Test procedures which above and beyond Australian Standards
  • Verification of Competency (VOC) schedules around all our equipment and processes
  • Equipment designed for operator ease of use with mimic panels on key testing equipment

All testing is performed under controlled conditions, following an approved test plan, and delivered with documentation and test records. The two methods of pressure testing we offer are:

  • Hydrostatic testing up to 413 MPa (60,000PSI) using hydraulic oil, water/glycol and another client specified fluid
  • Pneumatic testing with air, nitrogen, or any non-flammable and nontoxic gas up to 100 MPa (15,000 PSI)

With branch locations in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane, our people and equipment can mobilise quickly to any site or offshore facility throughout Australia for pressure testing works. Our personnel are supported by a comprehensive equipment fleet that is owned and maintained in-house.

Pyreness Integrity Testing
Scope: Provision of all equipment including TFHPU for high pressure hydrostatic testing up to 1241 Bar.
System: Chemical injection and hydraulic umbilical lines

Portable Hydrostatic Test Unit – datasheet

Designed for a range of hydrostatic pressure testing applications including proof, leak, burst, pulse, fatigue and calibration testing in a wide range of oilfield equipment and pipelines. Air driven pump can deliver fluid test pressures up to 1380 Bar (20,000psi).

Testing and Flushing HPU – datasheet

The Testing and Flushing Hydraulic Power Unit (TFHPU) is designed to supply low & high pressure tap water or water/glycol fluids for use in hydrostatic testing, flushing and general hydraulic applications. Testing system is rated to 1380 Bar at max flow 1L/min

Portable and compact HPU designed to supply low & high pressure for use in testing applications.Unit features multiple HP and LP outlets with auxiliary circuit for fluid transfer and kidney loop flushing. Mimic panel provides ease of operation. Zone 2 Hazardous Area rated.

Haskel High Pressure Pumps and Components

AFP are the Australian Haskel channel partners, delivering high pressure equipment that can reach pressures up to 7000 BAR/100,000 psi.

Haskel offers air driven pump models between 0.33 to 10 HP with output pressures up to 100,000 psi (7000 bar). Wetted parts are available in a variety of seal materials compatible with hydraulic fluids, water (plain or DI) solvents, mild chemicals and liquefied gases.
